  1. I have uploaded hv11.zip, the latest version of hiview to the

  7. I also posted it to alt.binaries.pictures.utilities

  9. Hiview is a freeware JPEG/GIF/TARGA viewer for MSDOS machines and requires
  10. a 386 or better processor, VCPI environment (it won't run under Windows or
  11. OS/2), and one of the following graphics cards:

  14.     Ati
  15.     Chips&Tech
  16.     Everex
  17.     Genoa
  18.     Oak
  19.     Paradise
  20.     Tseng 4000 (hicolor also, hence the name *hi*view)
  21.     Tseng 3000

  23.     Video 7

  25. The sources are included with the archive and I strongly recommend comments
  26. suggestions, code modifications, etc.
  27. Please let me know what hardware setup you have used hiview on.

  29. Version 1.1 adds support for may graphics cards and a much better performance
  30. on setups without a coprocessor.
